Nadal & Djokovic.- Next 14th of July, and just before joining their respective teams in the 2012 London Olympic Games, Serbian Novak Djokovic and Spanish Rafa Nadal will play a tennis match in a football stadium.

The event will take place in the Santiago Bernabeu, home to Spanish football team Real Madrid, and it is expected that more than 80,000 spectators contribute with their presence to collect funds for several projects involving disabled and poor children and which are developed by the Real Madrid Foundation and the Rafa Nadal Foundation.

Additionally, the ATP’s (Association of Tennis Players) numbers 1 and 2 will also seek to establish a new world record of people watching a tennis match. The current Guinness Record for the highest number of spectators in a tennis court is 35,681 which was registered in a match between Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters. Considering the destination of the money collected and the fact that the Santiago Bernabeu has a capacity for almost 90,000 people, it is very possible that Nadal and Djokovic break the record.

It is still unknown the type of surface to be used for the event, which will be part of the celebrations of the 110th anniversary of the "Real Madrid Football Club".
