LED bolt.- A team of researchers from the Physics Department at the Research and Advanced Studies Centre in Mexico have created a low consumption and high efficiency bolt able to offer a saving of energy of up to 90% when compared with a conventional bolt.

The research has been led by Dr. Ciro Falcony Guajardo, who assures that the new device allows an environmental illumination appropriate for human eye while offering a significant saving of energy, with an efficiency of 100 lumens (light units) per watt in comparison with 11 lumens per watt generated by a traditional bolt.
