Viruses & bacteria.- A team of international researchers has announced that they have finally completed the reading of all viruses and bacteria found in the human organism.

The scientists have developed a complete map identifying each and every of the viruses and bacteria in the human body thanks to the participation of more than 240 healthy volunteers of both genders. In total, the human organism has ten times more bacteria and viruses than human cells.

The researchers, from more than 80 research centres around the work who have worked under the umbrella of the National Institute of Health (NIH) in the United States, have preached their conclusions after five years of work.

The results of the study have recently appeared in the prestigious scientific magazine “Nature and Public Library of Sciences”- PloS.
