Stem Cells.- A team of international researchers from several institutions has conducted a successful clinical trial to re-grow hair in 19 volunteers.

Researchers managed to isolate stem cells to grow hair in bald participants. The research consisted in removing a small part of the scalp in the area of the nape, where the hair never stops growing.

After isolating the stem cells in the sample, experts injected the cells under the skin in those areas where hair was needed. The results of the experiment were spectacular as all the participants in the trial experienced a regeneration of the hair.

Next step will consist in developing an extensive trial which will be carried out in Europe in the year 2013 with the collaboration of more than 100 participants.
