Miscarriages & excess of fertility.- A team of researchers at the Princess Anne Hospital in Southampton, the United Kingdom, in collaboration with scientists from the University Medical Centre of Utrecht, the Netherlands, assure that continuous spontaneous miscarriages can be caused for an excess of fertility in some women.

The teams, who analysed a number of pregnant women half of whom suffered spontaneous miscarriages, published their conclusions in the prestigious scientific magazine “PLoS ONE” explaining that the discovery could be the first step towards the development of a test able to detect this condition in women.
